This international project focuses on the potential use of nanotechnology in food industry, especially in animal feed. NPPC employees from various fields of expertise participated in the preparation and characterisation of nanomaterials which contained active substances (propolis or bee pollen).

In the international workshop hosted by InoCure, project partners from Turkey were present as well (Selcuk University in Konya) which opened prospects of future cooperation.

Judging by the variety of presentations it became apparent that nanotechnology has potential aside of nutrition in animal feed, but also for monitoring food quality, expiration and also for soil quality evaluating.
