bullet5th Central European Congress on Food 2010 | 25-05-2010

The 5th Central European Congress on Food (CEFood 2010) was held in the Hotel Tatra, Bratislava, Slovak Republic last 19th – 22nd May 2010 and organised by VÚP Food Research Institute. 
 

The congress was opened by Ing. Vladimír Chovan (Minister of Agriculture of SR), Dr. Soňa Supeková (Congress President), Professor Peter Raspor (Honorary Chairman of the Congress), Professor Peter Šimko (Chairman of the Scientific Committee) and Ing. Marcel Rosina (Director of VÚP Food Research Institute).
 

Scientific programme was focused on latest progress in fundamental and applied food science, research and development, innovative technology, food safety and market, functional and bioactive food, new trends in nutrition and health.
CEFood 2010 also gave unique opportunity for food scientists, researches, technologists, producers and nutritionists, young scientists and students for presentation of results and findings of their own work and discussion about mutual international cooperation in the frame of 7 EU frame program.
